Mission Statement

It is the mission of the Vinton County Board of Mental Retardation and Developmental
Disabilities to ensure the availability of programs, services and supports that assist eligible
individuals in choosing and achieving a life of increasing capabilities, to promote safety and
health, and to assist and support the families of these individuals in achieving these goals
consistent with available program resources.
